Guys and Dolls
Royce: I recently read Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman's book "Long Way Around", which tells the story of their round the world motorcycle trip. Being that it was about RTW travel and that I have always toyed around with motorcycles I could not help but be interested. Anyways, it was a great book and I was really impressed with McGregor and Boorman for taking on such a trip.
A while back I noticed (while riding the tube) that McGregor was doing the musical "Guys and Dolls" at the Piccadilly Theater in London and it caught my interest:

I figured it might be a fun night out for April and me plus we may get a chance to see a dirthead since and dance. I got some tickets and we went last night.
I got off work a little early and we rode the Croydon Tram to Wimbledon, and from there took the Underground to Piccadilly Circus. For a Thursday night, I was impressed with the number of people out. We had a quick Indian dinner near the theater and then headed for the show.
The show was great! I have never been a fan of musicals, but this just seemed to work for me. The cast was amazing and the sets were just as incredible. Jane Krakowski from Ally Mcbeal was the female lead and her and McGregor were far better singers and dancers than I ever imagined. I just figured they were there for name draw.
